Hipshooter: Waist-Level Camera Platform

A buddy of mine jokingly asked if I could make a hipshot replacement for him, the company is out of business and he lost his, he didn't think the plastic could do it...
But in one day I had a working prototype able to hold 45 pounds of sandbags (all I had laying around at the moment) that showed no signs of stress!  The final version I am now selling was tested to 75lbs with no issues.

A few more hours tweaking the design and in one week I have an operational bootleg Hipshot going out to my bud.

The final was printed in carbon-fiber reinforced nylon with flexible TPU rubber for the camera platform and the inside for a bit of padding. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I've since updated the design to make the hardware flush and some other tweaks to make it a better item.  Using PETG instead of Nylon and I'm really happy with the result!
